1. General Terms<\/h3>

By confirming a reservation at Mono Luxe Villas (the \u201cProperty\u201d), you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These terms form a binding agreement between the guest (\u201cGuest,\u201d \u201cYou\u201d) and Mono Luxe Villas (\u201cWe,\u201d \u201cUs,\u201d \u201cOur\u201d). All reservations, occupancy, payments, and services are subject to these Terms & Conditions. This agreement is governed by the laws of Costa Rica.<\/p>

2. Reservations & Payments<\/h3>

\u00a0<\/h3>
  • A deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.<\/li>
  • The balance is due prior to or upon arrival, as specified in your booking confirmation.<\/li>
  • We accept credit cards only (Visa, Mastercard, American Express). No cash, bank transfers, or checks are accepted.<\/li>
  • All Guests must present a valid government-issued photo ID and the credit card used for the booking at check-in.<\/li>
  • Resort Fees: A resort fee of $10 per day per guest applies to all reservations and is included in your reservation total.<\/li><\/ul>

    3. Cancellations & Modifications<\/h3>
    • Reservations may be canceled free of charge up to 30 days prior to arrival.<\/li>
    • Cancellations made 14 days up until arrival date will be charged a penalty equal to the first night\u2019s stay.<\/li>
    • No-shows and early departures are charged at 100% of the reservation value.<\/li>
    • Modifications are subject to availability and may result in rate differences. Please note that reservations made via third-party websites (e.g., Booking.com, Expedia) must be canceled or modified directly through those platforms.<\/li><\/ul>

      4. Check-In & Check-Out<\/h3>
      • Check-in time: 4:00 PM<\/li>
      • Check-out time: 11:00 AM<\/li>
      • Early check-in \/ Late check-out: May be offered during non-peak periods with prior approval. Additional fees apply. Availability cannot be guaranteed during high occupancy.<\/li><\/ul>

        5. Occupancy & Guest Policy<\/h3>
        • Maximum occupancy is determined by the villa type reserved.<\/li>
        • The primary guest must be at least 18 years of age to check in.<\/li>
        • Children count toward total occupancy.<\/li>
        • Only registered guests are permitted on the property. Hosting events, parties, or unregistered visitors is strictly prohibited.<\/li>
        • Pets are not permitted.<\/li><\/ul>

          6. Security Deposit & Damages<\/h3>
          • A credit card hold of USD $250 per villa is required at check-in.<\/li>
          • Guests are responsible for any damages, missing items, excessive cleaning, or violations of house rules.<\/li>
          • A minimum fee of $500 will be charged for smoking inside villas. Additional charges may apply for damages or extra cleaning.<\/li>
          • As pets are not permitted, a penalty fee of $500 will be charged for any unauthorized pets found on the property to cover deep cleaning and allergen removal.<\/li>
          • The deposit hold will be released after departure if no damages are found.<\/li><\/ul>

            7. Liability<\/h3>
            • Mono Luxe Villas is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings. Safekeeping of valuables is the guest\u2019s responsibility.<\/li>
            • Guests assume all risks of injury or accident while on the property, including use of facilities.<\/li>
            • The Property is not liable for interruptions in utilities, internet, or services beyond our control (e.g., weather, government actions, natural disasters).<\/li><\/ul>

              8. Property Rules<\/h3>
              • Quiet hours are observed from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.<\/li>
              • Illegal activity, disorderly conduct, or violation of Costa Rican law will result in immediate eviction without refund.<\/li>
              • Villas are non-smoking. Smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor areas.<\/li>
              • Guests may not unlock or open connecting doors (lock-off units) to other units unless the entire villa configuration has been reserved. Configuration changes must be managed by staff.<\/li><\/ul>

                9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution<\/h3>

                These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Costa Rica.
